anne chris van doesburg // performance artist // @anne.chris (26/01/1995) is currently studying at the institute of performative arts (toneelacademie maastricht), working as a barista and performs, since 2018, in the touring show boys won’t be boys // they make poetic work with their texts, photography, body movement, sound of voice and the use substances and smells. // they is searching in the depths of the emotional web where everything comes together and feels intertwined. in their performance mothers in sharp voids they attempt to embody the research to the personal umbilical cord between generational trauma of sexual abuse and gender- and body-dysphoria.
